Guild

The Ojai Valley Community Hospital Guild is a group of dedicated women and men working together to support our local hospital.

The Guild's mission is to increase community awareness as to the vital benefits and services of the Ojai Valley Community Hospital, to assist the Hospital Foundation in its fundraising and special projects and to offer Guild members educational and social opportunities.

Currently the Guild sponsors two dynamic fundraising events each year. These include the Nightingale Ball in November and a Western Casino Night in March. In addition monthly meetings feature speakers on topics relevant to medicine and the hospital.

Auxiliary

With smiles, helping hands and attentiveness to the patients, the Auxiliary is seen as an indespensable part of the healthcare team at the Ojai Valley Community Hospital.

Auxilians handle a variety of duties for the hospital including: assisting with meals, bringing patients magazines and flowers, replenshing medical supplies for staff, assisting in administrative tasks, and most importantly providing warm human contact for all ofour patients.

The Auxiliary also operates our Gift Shop in the main lobby, and helps entertain our residents in our Continuing Care Center with music, games, and art projects.
